The University of Denver Class of 1974’s 50 Year Reunion Weekend is fast approaching, and we're excited to extend a warm invitation to alumni to reconnect, reminisce, and rediscover DU through a series of engaging in-person events and activities on June 14-15, 2024.
We're currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with welcoming the 50-year reunion attendees as they arrive on campus on Friday, June 14. As a volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in setting the tone for this special weekend and ensuring our guests feel valued and supported.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and Welcoming: Extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to guests as they arrive in Lot E, setting a positive and inviting atmosphere right from the start.
- Parking Pass Scanning: Efficiently scan guest parking passes in Lot E to facilitate smooth entry and organization, ensuring a hassle-free experience for all.
- Guiding and Directing: Provide clear guidance and direction to guests, assisting them in finding their way from Lot E to the Community Commons area with ease.
- Transportation Assistance: Offer assistance and transport via golf cart from Lot E to Community Commons for those in need, ensuring everyone arrives comfortably and on time.
Specific roles will be finalized and communicated closer to the event date, and rest assured, comprehensive training and necessary supplies will be provided to ensure you're fully prepared for your role.
