The most magical time of the year returns! For one night only, the Denver Zoo is open only for DU alumni, students, faculty, staff, friends and family—that means fewer crowds, more space and much more fun.
Each year more than 1,500 people attend Zoo Lights to journey through 70 magical acres inhabited by nature's most fantastic and fearsome animals lit in multicolor wonder.
Staff and volunteers are needed to assist with greeting, checking in, and distributing tickets to attendees as they arrive. Check-in volunteers play an essential role in ensuring that guests have a pleasant and stress-free experience checking in to the event.
Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
- Greeting guest as they arrive to the zoo.
- Checking them in via the OnArrival app.
- Distributing tickets to registered guests.
- Assisting guests who have not yet registered to purchase tickets.
Training and day-of support will be provided. All you need to bring is yourself, a flexible attitude, a charged cell phone with the ability to download the OnArrival app, and a smile!
