For DU alumni, students, faculty, staff, and external community members of all cultural identities, DULAA connects those with a passion to community-build within the Latinx community through providing opportunities for networking, professional development, cultural connection/exploration, scholarships, and mentorship.
DULAA is currently recruiting two co-chairs to work in partnership with an Alumni Engagement staff liaison. The chair(s) are responsible for planning, scheduling and leading network meetings and functions, often serving as a master of ceremonies at social functions and meetings. The chair(s) are also encouraged to recruit a leadership team that includes, but is not limited to: co-chair, communications chair, and student engagement chair. This leadership opportunity can be adjusted to your availability and schedule. A 1-2-year commitment is preferable.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing a variety of programming that engages Latinx alumni.
- Organizing at least one social event per quarter.
- Attending at least 50% of all network planned events.
