OVERVIEW-
Enrichment Program instructors need help during class with a variety of Zoom related functions. With this assistance, instructors stay focused on teaching and leading class, while other functions are handled by the assistant, making for a smooth and seamless learning experience.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

- Co-hosted course for free
- Additional course during the term for free (some restrictions apply)
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Assist one or more 1-night lectures or multiple-week (2-4) evening or weekend courses.
- Open or log into class 20 minutes early each week.
- Take attendance and admit students from the waiting room.
- Assign host/co-hosting functionality. Update screen names to reflect roles during class.
- Alert instructor of questions or other important issues.
- Monitor chat and mute functions throughout class.
- Decide how you and instructor will communicate during class if necessary.
- Other duties as requested by the instructor including sharing of provided slides, breakout groups and polling functions.
WHAT IS REQUIRED?
- Online attendance at pre-term trainings (dates TBD).
- Desktop computer/laptop or MAC with at least 1.5 Mbps up/down wifi speed. No phone co-hosting.
- Thirty minute class preparation and weekly post-class follow-up with the instructor.
- General comfort with computer and Zoom. Specific Zoom co-host responsibilities will be reviewed in training.
- Basic troubleshooting of technical issues with the instructor and students.
- Nice casual/professional appearance on screen during class.
