The Office of Admissions is seeking DU Family Ambassadors to help guide admitted students and their families as they make their college decision. Ambassadors will share their personal experiences with DU, providing valuable insights to prospective families.
Role & Responsibilities
As a DU Family Ambassador, you will:
- Serve on a Family Panel from 11:15–11:45 a.m. in Anderson Academic Commons (AAC 290), answering questions about your experience as a DU family member.
- Engage with families at the Campus & Student Life Fair from 1:00–2:00 p.m. in Community Commons Grand Forum (CCOM 1700).
Event Schedule & Logistics
- Arrival & Check-in: 10:30 a.m. at New Student & Family Programs (CCOM 1200)
- Walk to the Family Panel: 10:45 a.m.
- Family Panel: 11:15–11:45 a.m. (AAC 290)
- Lunch Break: 12:00–1:00 p.m. (Lunch provided in the dining hall, or take a break off-campus)
- Campus & Student Life Fair: 1:00–2:00 p.m. (CCOM 1700)
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for enthusiastic DU Family Ambassadors who are eager to share their experiences with prospective families. No panel experience is required—just a passion for DU and a willingness to connect with others.
Training & Support
- A brief training session will be held to ensure you feel confident and prepared.
- A New Student & Family Programs staff member will be present during the event for support.
