Who We Are

Earth Week of DU-ing is a week-long celebration of connection, learning, and action. Through partnerships with the Sustainability Council, Center for Regenerative Futures, the Center for Community Engagement to promote Scholarship and Learning (CCESL), Advancement, Alumni Engagement, and the Community + Values Initiative, we demonstrate the University of Denver's commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

What We Do

During Earth Week, participants have the opportunity to:

  1. Connect with Nature: Engage in outdoor activities that promote appreciation for the natural world and foster a deeper connection with our environment.

  2. Learn Sustainable Practices: Attend workshops, seminars, and discussions to learn about sustainable living practices and how to integrate them into daily life.

  3. Build Community: Connect with fellow DU community members and build relationships while working together towards a common goal of environmental stewardship.

  4. Volunteer with Partners: Join one of our on-campus or community partners for volunteer projects focused on environmental justice, sustainability, and community development.

  5. Make a Difference: Take action to make a positive impact in our city's vibrant neighborhoods and contribute to building a more sustainable and just future for all.

Join us as we come together to celebrate Earth Week, connect with nature, and work towards a more sustainable future for Denver and beyond. Together, we can make a difference!
