Volunteer: DU Southern California Network - Volunteer Day

The University of Denver is partnering with Heal the Bay to bring this year's volunteer opportunity for alumni, parents, and friends in the LA area.

BEACH CLEANUP: 10 AM – 12 PM @ Santa Monica Beach
Help remove hundreds of pounds of harmful marine debris with volunteers from all over Los Angeles!
All volunteers must receive their Beach Talk before checking in. After the talk, they’ll check in and gather supplies, then begin their cleanup. Heal the Bay encourages volunteers to bring their own reusable cleanup supplies and a reusable water bottle. Gardening gloves and mop buckets make excellent cleanup tools!

Rolling check-in will continue until 11:00 AM. Pre-registered volunteers may consider arriving after 10:15 AM to avoid the biggest crowds.

Help clean up the beaches you have come to love and make the environment a little cleaner and a little safer!
