This annual gathering brings together alumni and industry professionals to celebrate our soon-to-be graduates, demonstrate the power of the DU alumni network, and spark meaningful connections—all in a relaxed, reception‑style environment.

Following a keynote speaker sharing the importance of networking, alumni will network with graduating students to share career insights and advice for their next chapter.  

As an alumni volunteer, your presence truly matters. You’ll help welcome the next generation of DU graduates, offer guidance as they prepare for life after DU, and highlight the many opportunities and resources available through our vibrant alumni network.

The Alumni Engagement Committee of the Alumni Advisory Board seeks to engage the alumni of the Daniels College of Business through annual events as well as ad hoc gatherings. We invite Daniels alumni to join our committee of volunteers focused on event execution, and as a first step toward being nominated to join the Alumni Advisory Board, if desired.

(About the Alumni Advisory Board):

The purpose of the Daniels College of Business Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) is to build and sustain an alumni engagement program that brings value and holds meaning for Daniels graduates. The AAB seeks to elevate the mission of the Daniels College of Business and strengthens the bonds among alumni, current students and the College.

The Alumni Ambassador Committee (AAC) of the Alumni Advisory Board nominates and interviews alumni for seats on the Alumni Advisory Board and its committees. This committee hosts quarterly Open House opportunities (via Zoom or in-person) for alumni to interact with current alumni volunteers. This committee also supports the growth of the AAC Endowed Scholarship Fund in support of student professional development.

The purpose of the Daniels College of Business Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) is to build and sustain an alumni engagement program that brings value and holds meaning for Daniels graduates. The AAB seeks to elevate the mission of the Daniels College of Business and strengthens the bonds among alumni, current students and the College.

The Student Development Committee (SDC) of the Alumni Advisory Board seeks to engage the alumni of the Daniels College of Business through opportunities to support current students. Activities include, but are not limited to, supporting the Daniels Professional Development Program (undergraduate), Executive Mentorship Program (graduate), participating in mock interviews, and participating in industry specific networking activities.
