Are you ready to showcase your passion for DU's vibrant community and contribute to a day of giving like no other? Join us for 1DAY4DU, DU's annual day of giving!
We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers who are eager to celebrate DU's rich history and can spare an hour or two on May 15th. As a volunteer in this position, you will be responsible for checking in guests who are attending our event at the Burwell Center for Career Achievement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting attendees and taking down their names, contact information including email address, phone number and student ID number if applicable.
- Provide "passports" to guests. These will be used to track the guest's participation in activities throughout the day and can be redeemed for prizes.
- Provide instruction and direction go guests on how to use passports and where each station is located within Burwell.
Qualifications:
- Passionate about DU's heritage and community.
- Available for at least one hour on May 15th.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with peers.
- Reliable and punctual.
