Event Overview:
Looking for a meaningful way to give back during HocktoberFESTival? Stop by our family-friendly, come-and-go service project to honor DU veterans, service members, and military families. In just 15 minutes, you can help assemble 100 swag bags and write thank you cards. These bags will be distributed to veterans during DU Veterans Hockey Night on November 22.
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble Swag Bags: Pack each bag with a DU pennant, hockey puck stress ball, sticker, and a thank you card, then tie it with a red, white, and blue ribbon.
- Write Thank You Cards: Write messages of gratitude for veterans and military families. Sample messages will be available if you need inspiration.

How to Participate:
Respond to this opportunity to let us know you'll be joining, then drop by anytime between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Supplies are limited, so participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.
