Join us in celebrating a tradition of connection and camaraderie! Each year during commencement weekend, retired faculty/staff and alumni who graduated fifty or more years ago gather to reconnect, reminisce, and welcome new members into the PALs network. This year, we're excited to continue this cherished tradition and extend a warm welcome to all attendees.
We're currently seeking volunteers to assist with welcoming Emeritus Tea attendees as they arrive on campus on Friday, June 14. As a volunteer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our guests feel valued and supported throughout their visit.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and Welcoming: Extend a warm and sincere welcome to guests as they arrive in Lot E, setting a positive and inviting tone for their experience.
- Parking Pass Scanning: Efficiently scan guest parking passes in Lot E to facilitate smooth entry and organization.
- Guiding and Directing: Provide clear guidance and direction to guests, assisting them in finding their way from Lot E to the Anderson Academic Commons (AAC) building, room 290.
- Transportation Assistance: Offer assistance and transport via golf cart from Lot E to AAC for those in need, ensuring everyone arrives comfortably and on time.
Specific roles will be finalized and communicated closer to the event date, and rest assured, comprehensive training and necessary supplies will be provided to ensure you're fully prepared for your role.
Join us in continuing this wonderful tradition and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees during this special weekend!
