We have a fun alumni volunteer opportunity at the Kennedy Mountain Campus coming up on Saturday, October 7 or 14!
The Kennedy Mountain Campus team is looking for a handful of alumni volunteers to pilot helping with the Saturday activities for the First Ascent Program and engaging with the students during the informal times. Alumni are welcome to lead hikes, join students at the Challenge Course and Cliff Lake Climbing, do arts and crafts, play yard games in the cabin meadow, and/or participate in the evening campfire reflection.
Alumni are welcome to arrive during the lunch hour (lunch is served from 12:30pm - 1:30pm on Saturdays) and stay for afternoon activities, as well as dinner and early evening activities (if interested).
The opportunity does not include overnight accommodations. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation.
Just a two-hour drive from DU's urban campus, the Kennedy Mountain Campus is situated on 720 acres of pristine wilderness adjacent to the Roosevelt National Forest. The stunning natural environment provides a contemplative wilderness setting where all community members can retreat from the city to enjoy unique and meaningful programming.
We look forward to having you join us! More details will be shared upon signing up to volunteer.
