The University of Denver Class of 1973’s 50 Year Reunion Weekend will take place June 9-10, 2023. As part of this special weekend, alumni will have the opportunity to reconnect with classmates, reminisce about their college days, and rediscover DU through a host of in-person events and activities.
We are seeking staff volunteers to assist with facilitating a 90-minute campus tour for a small group of reunion guests. Each tour guide will have access to a six-person golf cart to transport guests around campus.
Responsibilities include:
- Moving the golf carts from Lot 321 to CCOM east-facing patio.
- Greeting reunion guests and dividing them into six small groups.
- Introducing yourself and facilitating conversation, reflection, etc.
- Touring any buildings of interest, sharing contextual information, etc.
- Swinging by the Anderson Academic Commons to check out the University archives from 1973.
- Dropping off guests and returning golf carts to Lot 321.
In order to comply with the University’s risk management policies, staff drivers must watch the nine-minute video covering the basics on safely operating golf carts on college campuses and complete the 10-question quiz. Training and additional information will be provided closer to the event.
