The University of Denver Class of 1973’s 50 Year Reunion Weekend will take place June 9-10, 2023. As part of this special weekend, alumni will have the opportunity to reconnect with classmates, reminisce about their college days, and rediscover DU through a host of in-person events and activities.
We are seeking volunteers to assist guests with finding the appropriate size robe on Friday, June 9 following their class luncheon. This will set them up for success the following morning as they prepare to march in the undergraduate commencement processional.
Responsibilities include:
- Steaming the gowns to remove wrinkles.
- Inquiring about height and helping guests to try on different size robes.
- Labeling gowns with guest names.
- Reminding guests to bring regalia the following day (as appropriate)
Specific roles will be finalized and communicated the week of the event. Training and supplies will be provided.
