Volunteer: Drive DU’s Treats & Goodies Delivery Golf Cart on 1Day4DU – Faculty & Staff

Ready to keep the celebration moving (literally)? Join our Golf Cart Support Crew and help deliver treats, goodies, and high‑energy spirit across campus! You’ll serve as on‑call transportation for volunteers distributing snacks, especially for farther‑out buildings or in case of inclement weather. This behind‑the‑scenes role keeps everything running smoothly and ensures every corner of campus feels the 1DAY4DU excitement.

What You’ll Do:

Drive a campus golf cart to transport snacks, supplies, and volunteer teams to designated drop points. Assist Food Runner volunteers by helping reach buildings that are farther away or less walkable. Provide quick pick‑ups or reroutes in case of weather changes or timing needs. Support event organizers by staying flexible, responsive, and safety‑focused throughout your shift.

What We’re Looking For:

DU faculty or staff with a current, valid golf cart certification. Dependable volunteers who prioritize safety while keeping the energy upbeat. Strong communicators who can coordinate with event staff and adapt quickly to on‑the‑ground needs.

Why It Matters:

Helps ensure all areas of campus feel included in the celebration, no matter the distance. Keeps our Food Runner team efficient, supported, and energized. Plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth logistics throughout the day. A fun, hands‑on way to contribute to the excitement of 1DAY4DU!
