DU Bridge Community Garden

Who We Are

The DU Bridge Community Garden was founded in 2009 and is currently directed by Dr. Julie A. Morris, faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences. Since 2016, the garden has been located at 2320 S. Race Street, next to Boettcher Center West. It includes 45 raised beds, a permaculture garden, a tool shed, a greenhouse, and a community-compost system.  The Bridge Community Garden's mission is to promote a sense of community through the shared interest and participation in cultivating a garden.

What We Do

Each year DU students, faculty/staff, alumni and neighbors apply for individual plots in the garden which they tend during the growing season from May through October.
